Vaporization of multi-component particles

      Hi,

I am using multicomponent particles in the DDPM model. I came across these formulae in the manual, and was wondering which formula (16.160 or 16.161) gets used for vaporization when I select multicomponent particles in 'Injection'?

Is diffusion-controlled the default and do we have to introduce the convection term through an UDS? Or am I understanding it incorrectly?

You won't need a UDS, read the section below (which tells you what the terms are) and also follow the link to see how B m,i is defined. n

Dear Rob,nnThank you for your comment, but I do not see anything in the section below where it is mentioned how to activate 16.160 or 16.16. Is there a way to choose which of the two formulae can be used by Fluent?n(Link removed - Rob)nFor B m,i , there are two references that are mentioned, but I do not know where in Fluent is is calculated. nThank you!n

It's activated once multicomponent is set in the DPM Laws from the materials panel. nnAs an aside, Ansys documentation can be accessed directly from Help which is also the latest version.n
