Using Pythion Command Objects in ANSYS Rigid Dynamics

      Hello,

I am using ANSYS Rigid Dynamics and I am having difficulty using the Python-based command objects to modify my simulation.

The only reference I can find explaining how to write these commands is in the Mechanical User's Guide under Analysis Types > Rigid Dynamics Analysis. However, I find this to be very difficult to understand.

I can find almost no mention of Python Rigid Dynamics command objects using Google.

Is there somewhere else I can find information about how to use the Python Command Objects?

I would like to be able to: Query the coordinates of geometry objects, define and change remote forces, and define custom connections between objects.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

      Hi

THE act script commands should be the same or at least similar as any other simulation system (say static).

You should be able to record also and see what that is:

      All the best

      Erik
