Updated to 20241 – ansyslmd: Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,10032

      After updating to 2024 1 (Applications , License Manager Client and License Manager Server), we get following errors

      Vendor daemon status (on Eiffel):

        ansyslmd: Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,10032)

       

      We check on license server and everything seems normal with no issue. What are we missing?

      Hello Robert, 

      Was there any change in the license file?

      On Ansys license server, can you go to 'C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\license_files' open ansyslmd.lic file 
      In second line add PORT= 1056

             example: VENDOR ansyslmd PORT=1056

      then restart the license manager. 

      Please test it then let me know.

      Hello Mrunali Barde,

      I encountered a similar issue as above,but my error was: ansyslmd: Can't connect to license server system (-15,10:10061 "Winsock: Connection reused"). I am using version Ansys2023R1, and the Licensing Settings test was successful after entering port and server1, but it cannot be used.
