Hi, I'm using an academic license for Anys 2022 R2. I can start workbench, spaceclaim, mechanical, cfx and so on. But when I try to run fluent from a fluidflow block, it opens a window in fluent displaying the following.
"
Unable to connect to external socket: Error during socket creation
Opening output file:"SolutionResult.xml"

I know someone suggests to launch fluent outside workbench but I need to get it done in the integrated environment. What could be the cause of this?
Thanks.

Hi Carlo,
Try running after turning off your firewall and virus scanner.

Already done, nothing. It's not the problem.

Did you solve this problem? I have the same behaviour in some laptops

I reply to myself, just solved the problem. It occurs when more than 1 network connection is working, for example ethernet and wifi, just disable the wifi or unplug the cable and it works.
