Thermal Model of the Stator Windings

      Dear Sir or Madam,

For several days, I have been trying to understand how the k-values used in the thermal modeling of windings are determined. Unfortunately, I could not find any information on this topic in the documentation available at:

      https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/public/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/MotorCAD/v252/en/Motor-CAD_UG/MotorCAD/topics/cuboidal_winding_model.html

I am particularly interested in how the k-values are calculated in the three spatial directions. Could you please provide the corresponding calculation formulas or methodology?

I have also noticed that changing the thermal conductivity or the impregnation quality does not affect the k-values of the stator winding. This appears to contradict the explanation provided in the documentation linked above. The same behavior can be observed for the rotor winding of a salient-pole synchronous machine.

I would appreciate your clarification on this matter and look forward to your response.
