Hello everyone, I am new here and an "advanced beginner" using Ansys. I want to do a transient thermal - electric Analysis to simulate the electrical contact and its heating of two different materials. For that I made a model with two bodies and the following settings made for the contact area:

Depending on the key options you can see in the description which parameter you can set. So I assumed that these values for thermal and electrical conductivity are those in the description, although the unit is not correct in Ansys workbench.

The one thing I want to note is that the thermal and electric conductivity may not go in exactly as you input in the mecahnical GUI. Often these are converted to consistent units. This is described and units for various quantities are shown in "understanding solving units" at https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v222/en/wb_sim/ds_solving_units.html?q=solver%20unit%20system
