SubscriberWhen I attempt to import a file (e.g., .gds file) into my design, I encounter a software bug in the file selection window.
I've attached two photos showing an example of this. When I select the file I would like to import, "test_file_to_demonstrate.gds" gets changed to "test_fil_to_demonsttrate.gds". Could this bug please be fixed?
Thank you!

Ansys EmployeeWhat version of which application are you importing into? Widows or Linux?nFebruary 9, 2021 at 4:39 pmvoyager
SubscriberI am using Linux. ANSYS Electronic Desktop 2020 R1nFebruary 9, 2021 at 5:24 pmANSYS_MMadore
Ansys EmployeeThis is in fact a bug which has been reported to developers. For now the workaround is to manually modify the file name after selecting it to complete the import. This also occurs with 2021R1, so updating likely won't resolve the issue for you.nnThank you,nMattnViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘Software bug using Modeler >> Import’ is closed to new replies.
