Hello,
Please, I need help. I want to simulate Single phase Transient Sliding Mesh for centrifugal pump. I am new to Ansys and cfd to certain extent . I will attach a photo of Fluid Zones. My task is to complete a task of some work. I have till the mesh and I need to do the set up. Now, I have a couple of questions: I see fluid zone : so here I should define my sliding mesh : I chose laufrad (wheel) only.? The second question: There is mesh interface ,when I check them I see no pitch scale ! if some one could help me what is no pitch scale ? and why it is between impeller and volute? and there is another one (nps2) between impeller and spiral ? -

Use the Mesh display to look at the interface pairs. As you have 3 fluid zones I suspect you need to review "share topology" in the geometry tool.Â
If you click on Help in Fluent and also Learning on here you'll find examples/tutorials/lectures covering most of what you need.Â
