SubscriberHello,
Please, I need help. I want to simulate Single phase Transient Sliding Mesh for centrifugal pump. I am new to Ansys and cfd to certain extent . I will attach a photo of Fluid Zones. My task is to complete a task of some work. I have till the mesh and I need to do the set up. Now, I have a couple of questions: I see fluid zone : so here I should define my sliding mesh : I chose laufrad (wheel) only.? The second question: There is mesh interface ,when I check them I see no pitch scale ! if some one could help me what is no pitch scale ? and why it is between impeller and volute? and there is another one (nps2) between impeller and spiral ?Â

Forum ModeratorUse the Mesh display to look at the interface pairs. As you have 3 fluid zones I suspect you need to review "share topology" in the geometry tool.Â
If you click on Help in Fluent and also Learning on here you'll find examples/tutorials/lectures covering most of what you need.Â
