Simulating Coils as Coil sheets in Q3D

I have a Ansys Q3D design that is giving problems with meshing, memory runs out, and simulations take considerable time. I read somewhere that there is a possibility of modelling the system of cois as just a sheet and specifying the amount of turns. How does one go about doing this? Thanks!

Does your model include many curved objects? - You can improve the mesh time significantly if you can define the geometry without any curved geometry. - If you have the geometry created within the built-in modeler, most curved object types (circles, cylinders, etc) have an option for 'Number of Segments' with a default value of 0. Change this value to non-zero (8 or 16).

What are you trying to solve for? - Q3D computes the self & mutual R, L, G, & C of electrically small structures. - Ansys Maxwell is a quasi-static solver for solving DC and low-frequency AC fields and has an excitation type to define coils with many turns onto simple geometry as an excitation type.
