I want to calculate the eddy currents in a conductor caused by an external field. I have already set up a modell which includes a static field distribution with the hfield and symmetry boundary conditions. Is there any possibility to express the field distribution as a varying function of one of the coordinate components instead of a static distribution, like B(z) ?Â

Hello,
You can create a polyline or edge of an object, then plot field quantities alone the trajectory by>>report>>create field report, select the line as geometry.
