Running Ansys Electronics Desktop 2021R2 on Linux OS

      Hello,

I am trying to run Ansys Electronics Desktop 2021R2 on Linux OS. I have two questions:

1- Missing "ansysedt" file to run the AEDT from Linux terminal; I have Ansys EM 2021R2 installed. What would be the problem?

2- I can run Ansys 2021R2 workbench on Linux. Is there anyway to open the AEDT from workbench?

I have academic license and multiple versions of AEDT (2019 and 2021) . In fact I can run the 2019 AEDT from Linux terminal using the command "./ansysedt".

      Thank You,

      Haitham

      1) This could be due to your install not being successful. You should see ansysedt within /AnsysEM/AnsysEM21.2/Linux64 and you would run with ./ansysedt
      2) If you have integrated AEDT with Ansys you can, but you'll end up with a project that must always be run with Workbench rather than standalone AEDT.
