Hello everyone,

since yesterday I have had an extremely annoying problem and unfortunately I don't know what to do. I would like to start a calculation via the CFX Solver. The Solver Manager starts normally. Now I want to select a .def file from my working directory via the folder icon and send the job. Normally another window opens with the contents of the working directory. In my case, nothing happens and I cannot close the window. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Ansys twice. I have checked whether the window is also outside my field of view (which was not the case). Can someone give me a step by step guide on how to fix this? 

Could it be a problem with the numerous subfolders that are somehow corrupted?

Unlikely to be install, do you have a second monitor? Or rather did you have a second monitor?

hi rob, thanks for the quick reply. yes i always work with two screens.

Check you still just have two screens set, I suspect the panel you need is being spawned but not necessarily where you can see it. I think there's a Windows function to bring all active panels to the primary display, but can't remember what it's called.
