I'm korean student, so my english can be badI'm following that video to calculate drag of hull.
In geometry step, I imported stl file from thingiverse, dragged the file to 'drop the file to open'.
I changed my object with convert solid > most tesselated > Repair(gaps) > It is now solid
I followed the video(making rectangle, pull with no merge)
When I tried to combine them, ansys said 'Unable to intersect bodies'
And I wanted to use boolean, but I couldn't find the function.
I finished to follow the video with geometry made using ansys, but I still can't use the outside files.
Â
Please help me to combine them or use boolean function.

I'd start by cleaning up the imported stl: for hull drag you don't need to consider the sails. You can also check the hull is a sealed body. The geometry tools are covered in Learning, but also have tutorials in the Help system. Alternatively, if you're using CAD as part of the course you may want to create the fluid (air and water) regions there and export for use in Ansys tools.Â
