Please use ANSLIC_ADMIN to setup your license server.

  So ive been trying to install the discovery student. Initially I kept getting the issue of:
  "2021/10/20 23:00:44  ERROR        C:Program FilesANSYS Incv212licensingclientwinx64lmutil.exe does not exist
  2021/10/20 23:00:44  ERROR        C:Program FilesANSYS Incv212licensingclientwinx64lmutil.exe does not exist
  2021/10/20 23:00:44  ERROR        "C:Program FilesANSYS Incv212licensingclientwinx64ansyscl.exe" does not exist.
  2021/10/20 23:00:44  CONNECT_ERROR    16167:1,16166:1
  etc."
  
  I resolved this by creating said folders at said location "C:Program FilesANSYS Incv212licensingclientwinx64", finding those missing files in the installation file and putting them as requested by the log.
  That solved some. But I cannot find anywhere this file. If anyone knows the location of it. let me know

  so i found the file in the 2020 version easily. I tried the 2020 file in the 2021 and this is the result:

  It works BUT its an old licence and this wont work. So whoever works there, can you please help me find the missing file in the 2021 version? Thank you

  Try the following:
  In the extracted free student download, you should see a directory named:
  clclient
  under this directory, you should see a file named: WINX64.7z
  Extract this file to: C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v212
  This should create a directory named: licensingclient which will contain a directory named: winx64
  The missing executables should now exist under that directory.
  Now try and run.

  I just solved it by installing the R1 2021. It had the proper installation files and worked first time. Once the R1 licence server files was installed, the r2.1 worked fine. I tested it with 3 computers. All have the same story. No licence in 2.1, but there is a licence file in r1. Once you install both R1 and R2.1. Both work. So you should probably install your latest on a brand new pc without previous files hidden in system files and troubleshoot your installer.
