SubscriberHello everyone,
My mentor told me to research the difference between nodal and elemental solution in ANSYS. I did some research but couldn't draw any clear conclusions from what I've read. Could you give me a detailed explanation about this?
Thank you from now.

Ansys EmployeeSee this help section:6.3. Types of Data Available for Postprocessing (ansys.com)
Primary dataconsist of the degree-of-freedom solution calculated at each node and this is as nodal solution data. Also derived data that are averaged at the nodes are considered nodal solution data
Derived Data at all integration points of each element, or at the centroid of each element are known as element solution data
