SubscriberHi everyone,Â
can anyone help me with the MSMD battery model?
I have my own HPPC data, and I use it to parametrize it to fit.
However, at the end, I am having the problem like:
WARNING: fitting is not successful for curve 1. Please use TUI command
(rpsetvar 'battery/parameterestimation-debug? #t) for further debugging -

Ansys EmployeePlease try plotting the fitting curves from the Battery Modeling panel for all temperatures and SOC and share the screenshots. This will help determine if there is anything wrong with the HPPC data. Additionally, there are 2 methods for fitting curves - LM method and JH method. Please try both and see how it goes.Â

SubscriberHi, I am facing the same warning and I am not sure what the cause is. When I plot the curves, the curves that Ansys shows a warning for, have no fit. It only shows the experimental points. This is true with both LM and JH methods. It should be noted that the number of curves the fitting fails for is higher with JH method. Where you able to find the solution to this issue? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
