SubscriberHi,
I'm trying to install ANSYS 2020 R1, however I cannot find my license file under ANSYS 2020 R1ANSYS IncShared FilesLicensing or Program FilesANSYS IncShared FilesLicensing. I'm not sure who and where to contact to receive it, and the new licensing system for ANSYS 2020 has me a bit confused on how to activate my ANSYS workbench through the ANSYS License Manager Release 2020 R1. I checked my Siebel account and I do have student licenses active until 2021.
If anyone has any insight on where and how I can get my license file / activate my workbench it would be much appreciated, thanks!

Forum ModeratorThe key is probably in  C:Program FilesANSYS IncShared FilesLicensing  if you follow the normal install route, or could be linked back to the University network (you'll need your IT support for that). Do you have an earlier install?Â
Student isn't licenced in the same way, and shouldn't be installed on the same computer as the paid for software: the licence systems don't get on.Â

Forum ModeratorAssuming the licence machine is up and you can connect (ping) to it you may want to post a new Topic, it may, or may not be linked to the OPs problem.Â
