Maxwell 2D Transient – different core loss results between versions 2022 / 2024

      Hello,

I did core loss simulation (transient) in AEDT 2024R2 and results look weird in some areas, to check it I did the same simulation in AEDT 2022R2 and core loss waveform looks different. Is there any explanation for this, is this some kind of bug? Below examples of core loss waveforms to compare:

Hi, 22R2 and 24R2 version use different kernels. The mesh is going to be slightly different, and core losses are higlhy dependent on mesh. Furthermore, please consider decreasing the nonlinear residual to values ~10e-8.
Then the core loss values will be similar, as the actual calculation is the same.

In which version shall I change nonlinear residual? Could you explain how nonlinear residual value affects the simulation?
