I am doing a turbulent multiphase simulation with an injection of water vapor.
I wanted to test the inclusion of a porous media in the simulation. When I activate porous zone, I only see an option to change the porosity. In my initial testing (without the above models selected), I saw other options such as direction vector 1 and direction vector 2 as well as viscous and inertial resistance.
I had a tough time reading the user guide to find out why it was gone when I activated the other models. I'm not sure if I have the wrong settings. Was this intended or did I do something wrong?

Could you also help me by answering exactly what porosity means? Based on what I've read it means the percentage of void spaces, so if I set a porosity of 1, the whole porous zone will be a void space?

August 17, 2020 at 5:03 pmBranSubscriberSo if I set a porosity of 0.7, then 70% of the rock can have fluids flow?
