Licensing Error with Ansys

  We recently renewed our license with Ansys. I have activated our respective entitlement and assigned it to the host desktop computer that Ansys is installed on. However, the following error pops up every time I open the Electronics Desktop: "The desired vendor daemon is down. Check the lmgrd log file, or try lmreread.Feature hfss_guiVendor Host DESKTOP-[name of desktop & license path]License path 1055@[DESKTOP-[name of desktop & license path].FlexNet Licensing error -97,121".

  Hello,
  Did you install the student's version or the commercial?
  Can you please confirm if you specified server details in Ansys Licensing Settings?
  For the commercial version, to configure the license server on the client machine, follow the steps below:
  - Go to Start> Ansys 202x Rx> ANSYS Licensing Settings 202xRx (Right click and “Run as Administrator”)
  - Go to Flexnet Publisher, enter the port number (1055 is the default) and license server name in the required fields and hit Test.
  - A green check will be shown, which means you are connected to this license server. Click Save.
