Licensing error

      1)Workbench shows no toolbox component systems (already tried resetting workspace)


      2)Following error shows up while running Mechanical


      AnsysLI Servers:
      FlexIM servers doesnot have any licenses for any product (attached snip)

      If it's Student R19.2 the licence expired in September. The current release is 2019R3, so you may want to update. Have a look for the sticky on renewing licences if you want to continue with last year's software.

      From the posts I came across, I am concluding I will have to download the entire package again.! Is there any other way to go about this problem, without downloading the entire 5 GB package for a license file?

      Sorry, the answer is 'no' . The post that Rob mentioned is intended to be as a 'workaround' for those who still want to use old versions of ANSYS.


      Normally, you will have to use only the versions that are currently available on the download page.
