I'm trying to use a laser diode source in my simulation, and after consulting the Zemax documentation, I was able to figure out how to calculate the X and Y divergences based on the laser diode datasheet. However, I'm still struggling with parameters like X and Y super Gauss, Wx, Sx, Hx, Wy, Sy, and Hy, and also Astigmatism!
I'd really appreciate any help in understanding how to handle these. Thanks!
The laser diode datasheet is attached. -

Hi Arezoo,
Thank you for reaching out to us, may I ask you wether you have gone through our help file page: The Setup Tab » Editors Group (Setup Tab) » Non-sequential Component Editor » Non-sequential Sources » Source Diode?
I believe you can find there some details regarding these parameters.
Kind Regards,
Niki

Thank you for your reply!
Yes, I have gone through the zemax help documentation for diode laser source. All I understood from the help was how todefine αx and αy from θfwhm , where a formula given: αx =θfwhm/sqr(2 Ln 2)
Other than that I could not really understand how I could calculate other parameters for the diode laser based on the diode laser datasheet info provided by the manufacturer. all other parameters like X and Y super Gauss, Wx, Sx, Hx, Wy, Sy, and Hy, and also Astigmatism.
