Hi All,

I've been having problems with Zemax over the last month. At first when I tried to open Zemax it just crashed and eventually I managed to track it down to a licencing error. To solve this I removed all my configuration files and freshly installed Zemax. However now all my old design files don't work. Has anyone experienced this before? I'm happy to supply an example file should that help.

Thank you for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear that you are facing problems with your Zemax files. I am happy to check your files from my side but unfortunately you can’t attach them on this portal (forum). May I ask you whether you are eligible for support either with Ansys directly (Ansys Customer Support Space (ACSS)) or though a channel partner? If yes, can you reach us this way to test your files?

Otherwise, one quick check that I can do with you is to ask you to send me some screenshots on what you are observing when you are trying to open your old files. Also if you can inform me of the version of ZOS that you are using would be helpful.
