Could you clarify if it is possible to replace the use of theÂ"DEFINE_SR_RATE" macro, typically employed in species transport mode for modeling chemical or physical reactions occurring at a surface.
if I don't use "species transport" mode but use "user define scalar" model.Â
then used to model chemical or physical reactions occurring at a surface by DEFINE_SR_RATE can be replaced by "DEFINE_PROFILE" on "wall" in boundary condition?Thank you.

Forum ModeratorYou can, but you're then responsible for all of the UDS coding, so all reactions, rate limiting stages, boundary conditions, source terms etc. Please note, we don't support UDFs in the same way, so please read the documentation!Â
