I am trying to simulate an eddy current effect on a rectangular piece of metal. This simulation is based on a real experiment. so I have the current, the voltage and the frequency used to heat up my material. I am able to set the excitation at the end of the coil but I was wondering if there was any way to input the frequency at which the currents moves into the coil.
As a possible solution, I thought about create and external circuit and the locked into my terminals, but I am not sure if this would work.

Ansys EmployeeIf you are using Eddy Current solver, frequency can be set up in "Analysis - Setup - Properties - Solver Tab". And if you wish to perform calculations at multiple frequencies, you can do a "Frequency Sweep".
If you are using Transient solver, frequency of your current excitation can be directly defined as a function of time, e.g. Current = 100*sin(2*pi*50*time).

SubscriberWhat is the unit of this setting: 100*sin(2*pi*50*time)? I cant choose the unit by myself
