Hi, I’m having the same issue too. I am using version 2024R1.Â
The strange thing is I don’t have such issue with 2022R1 version.

Forum ModeratorHi,
Please note that this is not an issue, but it is an intended change in 2024R1 to make the behavior of AEDT consistent with other Ansys products.
Best regards,
Praneeth Munaga.-

SubscriberHi, thank you for the response. Is it possible to revert this behaviour? I could not find a way in the settings.

SubscriberI have the same problem.
This zoom operate is also inconsistent with "alt + shift + drag" zoom. -

SubscriberI can only assume that some fresh-off-the-frat-house-minted Harvard MBA just proposed to invert the commands and assumed that "engineers will just learn to adapt". Some of us have been using HFSS longer than said MBA has been alive, and we don't appreciate having to unlearn a lifetime of muscle memory. Literally every polygon pushing program permits inversion of this input device. Is there a back-door command we can use to undo Alpha Beta Chet's decision and fix AED 2024?

Forum ModeratorThe users will have the option to select the mouse zoom option by the 2024R1 patch. The patch is not released yet. Unfortunately, the mouse zoom inversion option is not available in 2024 R1.Â
