Hi,
I'm trying to import a 2D geometry from Solidworks, all fully defined but are two separate pieces, into fluent. Tried different file types but each time I'm getting a error and warning. Any suggestions?

Hello,Â
Did you try importing it as a STP file?-

Hi Tom,
I think you can import 2D geometries. Just make sure that surface and line bodies are on the xy plane (SOLIDWORKS Reader (*.sldprt, *.sldasm) (ansys.com)
You can also import Solidworks sketches in Workbench, but you will need to change 'Mixed Import Resolution' in geometry cell properties. Right-click on geometry cell and then choose properties. Here in the list of properties you can find 'Mixed Import Resolution' option.

Thank you, I will try the mixed import resolution approach.
