SubscriberHi,
I'm trying to convert a Cadence APD file (.mcm) to aedt from command prompt without opening the GUI. I am able to load the tool using "
which brings up GUI and shows the import options but that's as far as I can go right now.ansysedt.exe" I would like to import mcm file automatically and save it as .aedt file in a custom location without opening the GUI. I could not figure out much from HFSS help document in ansysedt options. I tried -ng -batchsave/-batchextract/autoextract options but to no avail. Is there a way to do achieve this requirement?
Note: Cadence file import seems to be using extracta tool.
Thanks!

Have you gone through the "Running Ansys Electronics Desktop from a Command Line" section of the HFSS help document?
Do check the command format and other options there.
All the very best.
Regards

I did go through the section you mentioned but unfortunately the options specified doesn't solve my problem. I may need to look at HFSS scripting guide to see if such option exists.
Thanks!
