How to switch the license registered on old laptop to new laptop ?

  I have an Academic research license through the student team partnership.The laptop registered with this license is not working. I have switched to a new laptop, how to switch the license to new laptop? As the earlier license is registered with my old laptop's physical address. Is there any procedure to get license file for a new laptop?

  I think you need to contact the ANSYS team to provide a license with your new laptop Host Id associated with it.

  Mihir, please contact your ANSYS license administrator who gave you old license using student promotion.
