How to match time step settings for a coupled simulation

      Hi,

I'm conducting an FSI simulation with Fluent and Transient structural coupling.

Influent I have set 0.01 (s) step size with 10 number of time steps.

I have finished the simulation in fluent and imported the temperature data to structural.

But I cannot get the time step values correct whatever value I put I get a question mark in the "analysis settings".

Thank you, Karthik!nnQuick question does ansys have the capability of simulating the effect of time-temperature variation of materials? for example as for simulating stress-relieving occurred due to heat treatment?.n

Yes, you should be able to. For this, you will need to specify the variation of the material property with temperature as a table under Engineering Materials.nKarthikn

Hi Karthik,nBut Ansys does not have time dependency when it comes to material properties right? Where the rate of heat treatment can effect the mechanical properties?n
