How to make vertical terminal ports in HFSS

Hi! I have a few questions.

      1. How do you make vertical rectangles (2D sheets) in HFSS to use as ports? When I try to draw a rectangle out, I seem to only be allowed to draw it out in the XY plane. Is making it as simple as rotating it? If so, how do you do that?
      2. Additionally, can the each of the 2 ports in a 2-terminal device be connected to two separate ground references or does the ground reference have to be common?
      3. Can the ports have multiple ground references (i.e. each port has two PEC references)?
        1. Do the reference(s) need to be ground/PEC? (can all of the references be aluminum)

      Thanks in advance.

      Hello Lexi,

Please change the plane in the Draw ribbon area before drawing a rectangle.

Please go through the 'Reference Conductors' section of the HFSS help document to learn more about the reference ground.

      Hope this will help you.

      Best regards

      Anchal
