SubscriberI created the structure and have done the thermal simulation.
I can draw a line (path) anywhere inside the structure and get the temperature along that line.
But I also like to have a plot for the temperature of any cross-section of this structure. I tried construction geometry -> surface. But unlike the definition of path, I can define the start and end points, the surface does not have anything to define where the surface is located.
I am not sure whether I did it wrong, or there is another way to get the cross-section of the structure.
Really appreciate if anyone could help me.

Ansys EmployeeConstruction surface is the right approach. The surface is defined based on a coordinate system. When you create a construction surface in the details window you can change the coordinate system. The surface is based on the XY plane of the coordinate system. You can find more on this in the documentation at https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v231/en/wb_sim/ds_surface_const_geom.html
