I'm working on simulation of SAVONIOUS Vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) using 6DOF dynamic Mesh technique. My simulation is working correctly, but the problem is I can't find how to get the rpm of the turbine.nIf anybody know how to get rpm or angular kindly help.nThanks in advancen

The solver knows the cell velocity so you just need to report either a function of x (y, or z) position of a cell or cells. n

But you do have nnto use in a Custom Field Function, change in position with time. Expressions are also moving in that direction, but I can't remember if that's in the current release. n

Thanks for the help.nAs far as my understanding you are saying that I will have to create point on rotor which is function of X,Y and time. correct?n

Not quite. A point won't travel with the rotor. You will need to separate out a facet and report on that. n
