Hi anyone,

I need knowledge from whom that have an experience using solar tracing. I have detail of the date time, hour minutes, longitude latitude and etc in solar ray tracing box and I also have solar irradiation value at the specific date and time, time of day, global position. So, under the Illumination parameter of direct solar irradiation:

1)do I need to change to solar-calculator as I already give the detail value needed in solar ray tracing (date, time, latitude longitude, etc) or

2) can I give value of direct solar irradiation too if I have use solar ray tracing with detail parameter inside the box as I mention before.

Hello The Solar calculator is values are estimating the direction of solar irradiation. The values Direct (and Diffuse) irradiation are necessary to help Fluent understand the magnitude. So, you will need to provide both. I hope this helps.
