I am using the guided fluent workflow and used the "Improve Volume Mesh" task at the end. This task impoved my orthogonal quality from 0.05 to 0.1. I then wrote the mesh using Fluent mesher: File -> Write -> Mesh. This gave me a .msh.h5 file.
I then opened up Fluent 2021R2 and attempted to read the mesh using File -> Read -> Mesh. When i used the quality check option on the mesh (Check Mesh Quality), it wrote an orthgonal quality of 0.05. Does ANSYS Fluent change the mesh when it's being read from the mesher to the Fluent solver?

Did you use 2021R2 for Fluent Meshing?Â
Can you please check 2023R1 for both Fluent Meshing and Fluent Solver?Â
You can directly switch from Fluent Meshing to Fluent Solver using 'Switch to solution' option.Â
Please go through help manual for more detailsÂ

Keyur
