How do I get information about the total volume or area

  Hi!
  I have created a geometry in python, using ansys apdl package. The geometry is made of rectangular beam elements (1x1 mm). Is there a smart way for me to get the information on the total area/volume of the full geometry (of all elements)? ( I have attached a photo of the geometry)

  pyAnsys questions should be submitted at https://discuss.ansys.com.
  I would assume it would be easy to get element volume/area after meshing. But if you wanted to get these on the geometry before meshing, that may be a problem. However, your geometry just looks like repetition of the same unit polygon.
