Hi,
I have a FEM code which is taking longer time to solve in matlab, a same case running in ansys within a minute. how the ansys able to improve the time.

Solving models that need many iterations to converge can require many hours. Ansys employs methods of Paraller Processing. In this link you can find many details about this topic
