SubscriberHi Guys nI am trying to model high frequency transformer by defining core with magnetic material, primary and secondary windings. at the beginning, the model have created under eddy current 2D. well, I am facing some problems, such as after the simulation done there is No flux density all the core will be in blue color which indicates to ZERO flux density. nAs well as, when using insulation material inside the transformer design, I found there is No excitation on the secondary side. where, the insulation material act as a block between windings. Is there any setting have to apply in order to model high frequency object in Ansys Electronics?.Could you help me with these problems?.nRegards & Thanks n -

Forum ModeratornWhat's the frequency you are using in the transformer model? High-frequency transformers generally are in kHz frequencies.nTo interpret the problem correctly can you provide more specific details with screenshots?nLike, How are you setting up the model, How are you plotting the fields, How are you setting up the excitations, Did you assign correct materials to the core?nDid you give insulation boundary conditions between the winding and core?nWhat do you mean by there is No excitation on the secondary side?.RegardsnNavya.n
