SubscriberI was able to do basic CFD on an intake manifold for a formula SAE car in discovery, but am unsure how to simulate basic or even realistic pulses of air coming from the engine to flow through the runners of the intake. Right now I have been able to make it flow constantly, but I am looking to have have the airflow flow through one at a time in the correct firing order, or even preferably be able to simulate the variable amount of air that would flow due to valve opening and closing. I am aware that forte has whole engine simulation, but short of creating a whole engine in forte to simulate the intake manifold and exhaust manifold, is there a way to do this?Â
