SubscriberI encountered some issues while performing co-simulation using ANSYS Fluent and Twin Builder. During the transient reduced-order modeling (ROM) process for fluid simulations in Fluent, I am unable to generate the required files as I can with steady-state ROM, which prevents me from performing ROM in the Dynamic ROM component within Twin Builder. According to the Fluent help documentation, ROM is stated to be applicable only for steady-state scenarios. However, I noticed instructions for transient ROM in ANSYS Twin Builder’s official training PPT materials, but the actual interface in Fluent does not match the content shown in the materials . This has left me confused: Can Fluent actually perform transient ROM? If so, could you provide relevant reference materials or documentation?

SubscriberHello @huanxie19
You might want to check out the Workshop 13.3 about using Fluent to extract necessary data to build your Dynamic ROM in Twin Builder.
You can see in the Customer Portal that there is a ROM Builder Preprocessing for Fluent which may help you get what you want.😀
