      Hi ablegalois ,

How do you open this project ? Is it .wbpj or .wbpz ?

Can you reproduce this issue if you create a test/simple project, save, then reopen ?

      Thanks,

      Win

      Hi win,

thank you so much for your help.

it's .wbpj  file  ,   but i can't open it  and  i receive a message ( as shown in pircture above ).

when i do a new project , ansys workbench works normally and perfectly.

      Thank

      Hi ablegalois ,

To clarify, if you save that new project as another .wbpj file, close Workbench, reopen Workbench, then open that new .wbpj file, do you get the same error ?

Was it saved by the same ANSYS version ? What version is this ?

Try renaming C:UsersuserIDAppDataRoamingAnsys   to anything else, does this make any differences ?

      Thanks,

      Win

      Hello there,

      I have a similar problem.

This error appeared after a blackout. When I tried to open the workbench after the power was restored, this error showed up.

The Ansys version I used is 2020 R1.

Can you please give me some advice?

      Thank you in advance,

      Oana

      Hi Oana,

If your project was closed abruptly, it's very likely that the file already got corrupted. You can ask in corresponding Physics section to see if there is a way to retrieve some information from it.

      Thanks,

      Win
