Hello everyone,Â
I'm practcing structural mesh generation using ICEM. I followed the tutorial video but I failed to perform O-block with message shown below.Â
I found that the Y-block doesn't share same face with adjacent block.Â
And I selected the upper and bottom faces but failed.Â
And the generated mesh is like that. As you can see, non-conformal interface is generated where the arrow points out.
There are three blocks and the middle one is degenerated to Y-block. I found that I can only select the upper and bottom faces while the faces in tutorial is divided into four faces automatically. The following pictures are in the tutorial.Â
The tutorial selects same faces as I do.Â
But after pressing middle button, selected faces was automatically divided into four faces.Â
The bocks after O-blockgenerated mesh
I have tried many ways but failed to make the O-block. I wonder how can tutorial can make the split faces selected after pressing middle button. It's quite confusing.Â
Any advices is highly appreciated,
Dato

Hello,
Can you split the O-block on the left side too? This would correspond to the split created on the right side as shown in 6th image from top.
