Hi, I have Ansys ED 2020R1. I am using it to analyse my motor. My problem is how to activate the toolkit inorder to use it to calculate the efficiency map. I need a detailed procedure on how to locate the toolkit in Ansys ED 2020R1

Hello,

Here is the procedure to activate the machine toolkit.

Once you are on Maxwell >View>ACT extensions 

On the pop-up window select Manage extensions 

In the next window, you will see various extensions.

Select the Machine toolkit to add it to the wizard. 

Now go back and launch your wizard and fine Machine toolkit.

Thank you Sir for the procedure. I have seen the toolkit. Can you recommend any Ansys guide document on how to use the machine toolkit in getting efficiency map cos I am getting error message if I initiate it.

Hi, Thank you sir for your help so far. I have done exactly how you instructed. The simulation is running now, but my problem is how will I view the results when the simulation is completed?

Hello,

The procedure for plotting is also mentioned in the same section of help.

Search for "efficiency map".

Once the simulation is completed, open the toolkit and follow the procedure.
