ECE link in Simplorer

      Hello,

I'm looking for a way to extract the Equivalent Circuit Extraction (ECE) from the 2D Maxwell fem model, including the rotation of the motor, in order to be used in Simplorer. In this way, the software builds an inductance map in function of the current and the rotor position and he can take this table as input for the Simplorer study.

If you can provide me any suggestion, link or examples to this topic it would be very much appreciated

      Thanks!

Hello, if anyone is helping me on this topic it would be very much appreciated! (if i try to "extract equivalent circuit" from the 2D magnetostatic analysis, the software always crashes. anyone has suggestion why or if there is an alternatives? thanks!!)

Hello Peter, could you please let us know about the error that you get? Did you try using the Transient Solver?

      Thanks,

      Timos

      Hi Timos.

with the transient solver I'm only able to export from an "imported table", but not from the parametric solution.

My idea is to create an inductance map of the motor by a parametric sweep of currents and rotor angular position using magnetostatic simulations. In this way, first I export the map as a table in .sml format, then I'll import the .sml table in Simplorer as follows:

in this way i should be able to create a ROM of the fem model. What it's still not clear to me is how to interect with the block Simplorer creates after importing the table:

the block has as inputs the 3-ph currents and rotor position, as outputs the inductance values. I guess i would also need the linkage fluxes to get the final output current.

How does the block work? if i enter the block from the left with the 3 current inputs and the rotor position, does the block output the three inductance (perhaps after interpolation) ?
if yes, i would only need to divide the output flux by the output inductance to obtain the output current.

      thanks!!
