SubscriberHello, I'm trying to model a 3D numerical wave tank with a perforated wall type breakwater with toe at bottom front of the perforated wall.
What are the boundary conditions that should be given for wave generation in this case. Â I'm using ANSYS 2021 R2 (Teaching).
Thanks in advance.

Forum ModeratorI'd use the open channel boundaries via VOF and then flow boundary conditions. However, I'd also question the need for the solid zones as we're only modelling the "wet" bits and don't need any solid parts unless you're also looking at heat transfer or FSI.
