March 20, 2024 at 5:45 pmANUPAMA SubscriberHai, I am able to find the maximum, minimum and shear stresses. But i want to get the direction of principal stress. How to get the stress perpendiular to panel, transverse stress and shear stress acting on the panel?

March 21, 2024 at 9:00 amRahul Kumbhar Ansys EmployeeHi Anupama, You can plot the vector principal stress plot and export the result (.xls file) which will give you the angles required to produce a coordinate system whose X, Y and Z-axis are the directions of maximum, middle and minimum principal quantities.
