Hi, I've 2 surfaces that are in contact thanks to a bolt with a torque of 15Nm, I've obtained the area of contact by a formula and it is lower with respect to the area given by the overlapped area. How can i simulate the real contact area? (ansys electronic student version )

Hi Alexia,
Â
Are you connecting bodies with torque application on bolt and modeling the same in Ansys Mechanical?

Hi, Since I’m using the student version of ANSYS, I don’t have access to the Maxwell tool in Workbench, which means I’m unable to perform a coupling between Maxwell and Mechanical. For this reason, I’m only able to work with ANSYS Electronics Desktop (my aim is the Ohmic losses analysis)
