Hello, I am trying to understand If fleunt can do the CHT on the rocket engines. I know the pressure inlet and outlet (ambient) BC, will the fluent be able to tell me the heat flux through the walls of the engines at various locations like throat, converging or diverging section? Isn't fluent using adiabatic BC on walls and hence no heat transfer?Â
Thanks for the help,
Rahul

It depends on what you set on the boundaries and where you stop the computed domain. Have a look at the Fluent tutorials and Learning for Conjugate Heat Transfer.Â
