SubscriberAt Formula UFPB, we conducted an lot of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to evaluate the aerodynamic behavior of the airflow along the vehicle’s surface, with particular emphasis on the nosecone region. Additional simulations were performed to assess the viability and aerodynamic performance of a diffuser configuration. However, based on the CFD post-processing results, the diffuser concept was determined to be unviable for our prototype due to its limited performance benefits under our design constraints.Through post-processing analysis, we obtained pressure contour distributions and streamline visualizations, and accurately identified the vehicle’s center of pressure. These results provided critical insights that supported aerodynamic optimization and significantly strengthened our technical design presentation on the FSAEB competition.
