Bad gap space for interaction.. Run check

      Hello

I am trying to apply axial load on this column cross section:

concrete and steel meshes are 25 mm. However, when I start the simulation it gives this message: Bad gap space for interaction.. Run check.

As I open the "interaction" tap and press on "ckeck" this window appear:

Noting that: gap size was calculated automatically through the autodyn software. I have tried to enter different values of gap size manually but unfortuantely, no use. can anyone help in this one?

      Thanks,

For the error message:”Bad gap space for interactions- Run Check.” When you are using the contact type “External Gap”. you need to have the parts initially separated by the Gap Size. In your model, the minimum clearance between the surfaces of one or more subgrids is less than the specified gap size. If you run a check on your interaction setup, you will find that you don’t have gaps between Lagrange parts, they are penetrating into each other.
